Venice, Italy 2003 and Vaasa, Finland 2008
Venice, Italy…
While in Venice, I completed a body of work entitled Il Bagno Veneziano. The invitations to the exhibition at the Penrith Regional Regional Gallery & The Lewers Bequest, were posted from Venice before I travelled home to Australia. Twenty-four small works were exhibited in the Bathhouse at the gallery in 2009. Twenty-one works sold at the Opening, with two more sold in the following seven days.
Vaasa, Finland…
The works from Vaasa, Finland became a part of my Global Continuum entitled The Rising and these were exhibited in 2012-2013 in the Sassafras Creek Gallery, Kurrajong, NSW, Australia. The major piece shown was purchased by a collector of fine art from Mosman, Sydney and a further eighteen works were sold in addition to this artwork.
